Motekar ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Juzz Quran Player mobile and desktop application (the "App"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect and How We Collect It

We designed the App to respect your privacy. As a result:

• No Account Creation: You do not need to register an account to use the App, and we do not store any user accounts on our servers.
• No Tracking or Analytics: We do not use any analytics services (like Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, etc.) to track your usage, features used, or behavior in the App.

Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The App stores specific preferences locally on your device to enhance your user experience. This data includes:

• Your theme preference (Light or Dark mode).
• Your last selected reciter.
• The last played Juz and the playback progress/position.

This information is stored on your device using local storage (SharedPreferences) and is never sent to our servers or shared with third parties.

2. Third-Party Services and Data Transmission

To provide audio playback and display reciter content, the App communicates with external services. When you use the App, request logs containing standard technical details (such as your IP address) may be processed by these external platforms:

• GitHub / Motekar Servers: The App fetches the curated list of reciters and application stories from GitHub (https://raw.githubusercontent.com/) and/or Motekar servers (https://api.motekar.com/).
• Internet Archive / Audio Hosts: The Quran audio files are streamed directly from the Internet Archive (https://archive.org) or other public hosts.
• Google Fonts: The App loads dynamic typography using the Google Fonts library.

These third-party platforms have their own privacy policies. We do not control and are not responsible for how these third parties handle your connection requests.

3. Disclosing Your Information

Since we do not collect or store any of your data, we cannot and do not sell, rent, trade, or disclose your information to any third parties.

4. Children’s Privacy

Our App is safe for users of all ages, including children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13, as we do not collect personal information from any user.

5. Changes to Our Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page (or within the repository/website) and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
